The Hotel Westminster partners with the House of Bucherer for a surprising dessert in Paris

Travel and jewelry are two of the main topics covered on The Parisian Eye, so when I learned that the Hotel Westminster, part of the Warwick Hotels and Resorts group, had teamed up with the House of Bucherer, one of Europe’s biggest watch and jewelry retail chains, I had to go and see the result.

“L’Instant Chocolat” is a delicious watch shaped dessert, served at the hotel’s Michelin starred Le Céladon restaurant, where chef Christophe Moisand has been performing for 17 years.

Beyond a delicious dessert, the association between the House of Bucherer and the Hotel Westminster is a match made in heaven: located on the world famous rue de la Paix, with Cartier‘s flagship store as a prestigious and historical neighbor, the Hotel Westminster is a gem itself – and the Parisian address of the House of Bucherer is, in close location, the largest store in the world devoted to the exceptional watchmaking.

For this tasty jewel creation, nothing was left to chance: chocolate is, of course, a reminder of the Swiss origins of Bucherer, and it comes in different colours for the dial, the bracelet, and the hands of the watch (that will come on your table with the actual time, of course !)
