Symmetry and Ordered Beauty
The Labirinti Gucci collection is aptly named after the Italian word for ‘labyrinths’, and it centers around three themes: symmetry and ordered beauty, geometric splendor, and blooming nature. These themes are woven together to create a collection brimming with delight and surprise, leading one through the captivating course of life’s wonders. Instead of traditional garden elements like water fountains and flowerbeds, this collection illuminates new High Jewelry elements such as a dragonfly and a reimagined House G motif adorned in pavé diamonds.
At the heart of Labirinti Gucci lies the harmonious balance found in giardini all’italiana (Italian-style gardens), which the collection channels through the purity of gemstones. A statement cuff, featuring a 5.93ct Colombian emerald with hallmark “jardin” inclusions and five fancy diamonds, showcases the linear pattern of pavé diamonds that subtly evokes the House’s G signature. Another standout piece is a necklace centered around a 56.37ct oval-cut green tourmaline, its nuanced tones enhanced by 11 additional tourmalines in complementary hues.
This theme continues in a suite of rubellite and tsavorite jewels, where a cuff bracelet boasts a 30.57ct pear-shaped tourmaline rubellite, surrounded by rubellite beads and tsavorites. Symmetry takes a twist in a resplendent necklace juxtaposing a floral bloom with a linear chain featuring a discreet G logo, culminating in a 28.07ct spinel paired with dainty tourmaline rubellite beads and graceful pear-cut tsavorites.
Geometric Splendor
The geometric beauty of the Labirinti Gucci collection echoes the linear pathways of majestic mazes, reflected in meticulously crafted pieces. The romance of floral geometry is captured in sumptuous necklaces, such as a creation that pairs a 53.25ct lagoon tourmaline with a mesmerizing 19.68ct Ethiopian opal, framed by mandarin garnets and opals in a strong, linear diamond-set design. Celebrating the purity of lines and gemstones, a necklace themed around an ultra-rare 20.45ct Paraiba tourmaline is adorned with a trio of yellow sapphires and a white gold diamond pavé chain recalling the House’s G motif.
This homage to harmony, color, and shape continues in a suite of aquamarine and tourmaline jewels. A three-strand necklace features shrub-like Paraiba and darker green tourmalines, culminating in a 62.58ct octagonal-cut Santa Maria aquamarine from Brazil. A matching bracelet with a 35.69ct aquamarine, a 10.76ct aquamarine ring, and a pair of earrings echo this aesthetic scheme with a wonderful play on the blue-green palette. Rounding out the geometric theme is a pair of diamond kite-shaped earrings, highlighting perfectly matched emerald beads.
Blooming Nature
Labirinti Gucci also welcomes a new motif from the animal world: the dragonfly. Symbolizing grace, harmony, peace, and balance, the dragonfly appears in a series of bejeweled brooches and mismatched earrings. Crafted with luminous tanzanites, Paraiba tourmalines, white diamonds, pink spinels, and emeralds, these pieces reflect the dragonfly’s symbolic rebirth and freedom.
Eye-catching necklaces capture nature in full bloom, such as a masterpiece featuring a 113.35ct green tourmaline, one of the collection’s most significant gemstones. This tourmaline, free of inclusions and glowing with vivacity, can be worn in multiple ways. Another enchanting piece is a flower necklace set with a 60.89ct deep blue tanzanite, complemented by tanzanites, diamonds, and Paraiba and fancy tourmalines in a magnificent floral design.
Guiding us through a rich garden of harmonious creations, Labirinti Gucci channels the spirit of Gucci High Jewelry. The House embarks on a journey through a labyrinth of creation and exploration, pursuing sophistication, elegance, and beauty with uncompromising artistry.
