Baselworld: Chanel introduces a new Mademoiselle Privé watch with Maison Lesage

After recently introducing Chanel’s upcoming J12 Flying Tourbillon, I wanted to share another stunning creation that the brand is unveiling at this year’s Baselworld (which started March 27th and will last until April 3rd).

Created with Maison Lesage, for the first time embroideries are made in the most precious materials: gold thread,
white and yellow gold sequins, small pearls and diamonds. Dials are made in 18
carat gold, and set with brilliant cut diamonds.

The watch is part of the collection of the same name,”Mademoiselle Privé”, which takes us to the intimate world of Gabrielle Chanel, and showcases her most cherished symbols and objects she loved to have around her.

In the hands of the finest master artisans – enamellers, engravers, carvers and stone-setters – this collection adds yet another chapter to Chanel’s creative saga, and uncovers new grounds for expressing unsurpassed skill and know-how of the Métier d’Art craftsmanship used in Fine Watchmaking and High Jewelry.
