Loved to have brunch in the Chateau’s ballroom ! Shot with my Leica
A few
weeks ago, I decided to escape Paris on a week end, take the car and drive far from the
hustle and bustle of city life – yet close to Paris, more precisely to the
south of the Boise region. The reason for that ? Discover a place I had heard much of, but hadn’t seen
for myself so far : the Tiara Château Hotel Mont Royal Chantilly.
the last century, Tiara Château Mont Royal Chantilly is now a
hotel. Subtly designed to reflect the region’s princely
character, while not overwhelming its guests, the interior design of the
chateau today focuses on the opulence of light and space.
of spring, and try the seasonal brunch. Taking place in what used to be the
Château’s ballroom, the gorgeous buffet by the hotel’s head chef Franck
Charpentier had amazing food to offer, equalling the grand decor…
scallops. French terroir was also represented with foie gras and blood sausage.
All this came with fresh vegetables in a variety of options : raw, grilled
or in soup.
watering mini burgers, next to young guinea fowl, baked egg with foie gras and
white truffle…
Set in a different room, the buffet went on to offer
a wide selection of cheese, bread and delicious pastries – that even I had to
try given how good they looked
The best part definitely was having a coffee on the backyard of
the Château after this perfect brunch, highly recommended !
Of course, I had to wander through the Chateau… And lounge on the rooftop terraces Shot with my Leica
