Champagne : a new summer selection

Apparently, summer is back in Paris next week… I usually make white or rosé wine
selections for the summer, but thought it would be nice for a change to
introduce a few nice champagnes I’ve recently tried!

Rubis Velours by Pannier

It’s not the first time I’ve had Pannier champagne ; a Maison I’ve liked since I first tried it two year ago.
« Rubis Velours » is introduced as their latest creation, almost
comparable to a couture creation, and coming after their « Rosé
Velours » and « Blanc Velours ».

Arabesque duo box by Drappier

I’m also a fan of Drappier, and
their Grande Sendrée wich I already introduced in a gastronomy box. This great
champagne is also available in two versions in a « duo box », which I
just discovered, offering both the Grande Sendrée
blanc millésime 2006, and the Grande Sendrée rosé millésime 2006.

Brut rosé by Gremillet

It’s the rosé version
of Gremillet’s bestseller, the « no year » brut champagne. This
elegant rosé champagne has a beautiful salmon color, with aromas of red and black
sun-drenched fruits (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry
and currant), for a very gourmet taste.
