CHANEL: the greenhouse

CHANEL is about to unveil this year again its garden and greenhouse as part of the Jardins, Jardin event in the Paris Tuileries garden from June 6 to 9.

A smaller version of the 5 hectares of camellias grown by CHANEL in the South-West of France, this garden-field and its greenhouse will be focused on the white camellia, Camellia Japonica Alba, a botanical treasure and a CHANEL emblem with exceptional moisturizing powers.

The guided tour will give a glimpse into the transformation of flowers into cosmetic assets such as polyFractioning; a specific process which allows to select the most relevant fraction of the flower and to create an exclusive tailor-made ingredient with targeted action. An introduction to microfluidics will also be offered, as a revolutionary technology allowing the creation of active ingredients and formulas with unprecedented sensoriality.

The ultimate step will be the discovery of CHANEL skincare products, formulated with the exceptional flower so dear to Gabrielle Chanel.
