When I received an invitation to attend the grand opening of Gruppomimo, a brand-new restaurant in Paris’s vibrant 11th arrondissement, we couldn’t resist. Armed with a craving for delectable Italian cuisine and an adventurous spirit, I embarked on a gastronomic journey that promised truffle-infused pasta, delicious pizza, mouthwatering bruschettas, and the classic tomato-mozzarella combination.
Gruppomimo on Rue Keller: Your Italian Retreat
Gruppomimo on rue Keller is the group’s sixth restaurant, a cozy yet spacious gem nestled at 24 Rue Keller in the 11th arrondissement. This eatery, with its warm and welcoming ambiance, transports you straight to the heart of Italy through its quintessential decor. Authenticity reigns supreme, with numerous nods to Sicilian culture – hand-painted plates grace the walls, and “testa di moro” (Moor’s head) ornaments are thoughtfully placed throughout the restaurant. Since 2021, Gruppomimo has been on a mission to delight us with a consistent theme at each of their establishments: serving generous, high-quality dishes crafted with passion by their exceptional team.
Culinary Delights Await
Gruppomimo’s menu is a tantalizing array of Italian classics and innovative creations. From mouthwatering truffle pasta, a symphony of flavors that pays homage to Italy’s culinary traditions, to exquisite bruschettas that delight the senses, there’s something to satisfy every palate. If you’re seeking an authentic Sicilian experience, Gruppomimo has you covered. You’ll find an abundance of dishes inspired by the island’s rich culinary heritage. When the chef arrived with a wheel of cheese to prepare fresh Scialatielli with eggs and truffle, I couldn’t resist the allure of truffle and the flavorful cheese !
