There’s news from Moynat this Fashion Week, and it comes with the beautiful name Gabrielle.
Named after the Belle Epoque actress Réjane (whose full name was Gabrielle-Charlotte Réju) and who was the first muse of the House, the Gabrielle bag owes its clean, graphic lines to the subtle play of the curves of the Limousine trunks that are an integral part of the history of the House.
These curves are a trompe-l’oeil effect created by the seams on the top and bottom of the bag. The twist lock closure is shaped like an abstract M in palladium metal. The complex construction of the handle and the emphasis on painted raw edges so characteristic of the House establish this new creation as a representative of Moynat craftsmanship.
