For his 70th olfactory creation, Serge Lutens delivers with La Religieuse (The Nun) his interpretation of opposites. First, the simple contrast between black and white with the perfume’s main components: pure, “snow-white” jasmine on the one hand, and darker notes of civet, musk and incense on the other hand.
