I love to share the hidden spots of Paris, and Le Sud is one of them. Think about a a family holiday home in Provence or Tuscany, stretching over several floors and offering multiple spaces: a green terrace, an interior patio set with olive trees, a cozy dining room and several lounges reminiscing of private dining rooms.
Well known by Parisians, the restaurant has just been transformed into a relaxed and friendly “brasserie”, where one can eat at any time of the day or just visit for a drink.
In this new, 2016 version, it’s all about contemporary ambiance, elegant decor and a Mediterranean menu. The highlight of this special place definitely is the green patio, under a large canopy bathed in light.
What’s on the table at Le Sud ?
Chef Francois Lucchesi Palli works with the best products straight from the south: Burrata with summer truffle (delicious !), prosciutto, 30 months matured Parmesan, Ricotta di Bufala, marinated eggplant… And also large, colorful salads, pasta dishes, grilled fish: it’s all about the generosity of Mediterranean cuisine, with authentic dishes.
