This week saw the launch of My Burberry, the most significant new fragrance from Burberry to date. Inspired by a London garden after the rain, My Burberry takes its name from the affectionate way in which people refer to their Burberry trench coat.
Created by Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, Christopher Bailey working in collaboration with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, My Burberry is a grand floral fragrance with an unexpected edge; the scent is confident and beautifully elegant, yet understated in a typically British way.
Shot in London by photographer Mario Testino, under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey, the My Burberry global campaign features model Kate Moss and actress and model Cara Delevingne – together in a campaign for the first time, both wearing the iconic Burberry Sandringham trench coat in honey.
Beauty was established as the fifth Burberry product division in April 2013 and the beauty and fashion worlds sit at the heart of the brand’s global business vision. Recent innovations include: the opening of The Burberry Beauty Box, a new retail concept that blends fashion, make-up and fragrance and Brit Rhythm fragrances for men and women.
