Gabrielle Chanel first introduced the feather motif in 1910 with a hat adorned with a single, striking plume. In 1932, the feather reappeared as a key element of CHANEL’s only High Jewelry collection, “Bijoux de Diamants”, alongside the star, sun, and bow motifs. Since then, the Maison has continued to revisit this ethereal symbol, evolving its design while preserving its inherent grace and fluidity.
Patrice Leguéreau, Director of the CHANEL Fine Jewelry Creation Studio, first reimagined the feather for High Jewelry in 2010. Now, in 2025, he returns to this theme with six jewelry sets, refining its delicate curves and natural movement through masterful craftsmanship and avant-garde techniques.
