Last year, I was VERY lucky to take part in the private experiences the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris offers its guests, in their quest to bring them the best of the hotel and Paris in all aspects.
The last of the series was a cocktail class with the George V’s Head Barman himself, Gregory Hazac.
Gregory joined the hotel in 2013 after a brilliant career in some of Paris’ trendiest bars.
I had met the talented cocktail craftsman on several occasions at the bar and private events before, but having him just for me and the other cocktail class attendees that day was quite exceptional – he even created a cocktail for Eva Longoria‘s Global Gift Gala in 2014 !

Lasting an hour, the course, offered to hotel guests once a month, takes place in one of the hotel lounges and begins with a demonstration, followed by a DYI session, and of course a tasting ?

It may take me a while to become a cocktail mixologist, but it was lovely to have Gregory’s tips and tricks on how to make the perfect Negroni, and one of my favorites at the hotel, the alcohol free “Go Green”.
