Travel : exploring Boa Vista, Cape Verde - Part 2, the desert and the beach

Last May, I started to take you on a journey with me to Boa Vista, Cape Verde and introduced the hotel I stayed at while discovering the island on a long bank holiday week-end.

Traveling
with Heliades, the French tour operator specializing in the destination since 2009,
this trip took me through amazing adventures : on the second day of my trip, I went on
a exploration of the island’s desert and north Boa Esperança coast. The desert part was a premiere for me, and I
have to say that the emotions and fun of running up and down the dunes was
definitely worth the pick-up ride from the hotel to the desert !

We
then went on to explore the wild and pure beaches the island has to offer.

Of
course, a day in the life of The Parisian Eye has to include comfort and
champagne… Which I got as we stopped on our way back at the cutest
seaside bar.

My
adventures in Boa Vista didn’t stop there, and I will soon write about another great
experience I had with Heliades there… Stay tuned !

En mai dernier, j’ai commencé à partager sur le blog mon voyage à Boa Vista au Cap Vert, en présentant l’hôtel dans lequel j’ai séjourné pendant mon exploration de l’ile lors d’un long week end férié.

J’ai voyagé avec Héliades, le tour opérateur français spécialiste de la destination depuis 2009 avec près de 20 000 clients par an. Un voyage plein d’aventures: le second jour du voyage, je me suis retrouvé à explorer le désert ainsi que Boa Esperança, sur la côte nord. Le désert était une réelle découverte pour moi… Et je dois dire que parcourir les dunes est tellement fun, que cela valait définitivement le voyage en pick-up depuis l’hôtel !
Après ce moment qui aura pour moi été l’un des temps forts du séjour, nous sommes allés explorer les plages à la fois pures et sauvages qu’offre Boa Vista.

Bien sûr, une journée dans la vie du Parisian Eye doit inclure confort et champagne… Ce à quoi j’ai eu droit lorsque nous nous sommes arrêtés au plus pittoresque des bars de bords de mer sur le chemin du retour.
